CSI KGCE Committee Portfolio Interviews will be held tommorrow i.e 19th April 2012. 

All the applicants should report to IT department classrooms tommorrow during the college hours as per their convenience.

CSI - KGCE 2012-13 Committees' Formation!!!

CSI - KGCE has successfully completed a year in technical calendar and has conducted and organized various events through out this academic year 2011-12 in KGCE.

Time has come to pass the baton and thus CSI - KGCE will be electing new members for all Committees for upcoming year 2012-13.
All those who wish to be a part of CSI - KGCE Committees can apply for the same by going through the committee portfolios and then applying online .

47th CSI Foundation Day Celebration!!!

The CSI Foundation Day is celebrated on 6th March 2012 . This year is the 47th CSI Foundation year.
To celebrate the cause and the occasion, we i.e CSI-KGCE is organizing a small Celebration party of 47th CSI Foundation Day.

LINUX SEMINAR!!!

CSI - KGCE is organizing a brief seminar & practical session on  ' LINUX OPERATING SYSTEM '.
The seminar will be held in the KGCE on 10th Feb,2012 at 10am.
The seminar of Linux OS will be delivered by Prof. Santosh Vaychal [SDE , MTNL Mumbai] .

The following concepts wil be explored in the seminar :

• OS installation
• Basic Linux Commands
• Understanding Network Settings in Linux
• Linux File Security
• Working with Java & C++ in Linux environment
  

And more such concepts related to Linux OS will be covered in the seminar.

CSI SOCIAL EVENT!!!

CSI -KGCE is organizing a 'COMPUTER EDUCATION AWARENESS PROGRAM ' for rural children in the interior parts of Karjat.

The Social Event details are as follows :

School -- Raigad Jilha Parishad Prathamik School ,Bhoirwadi.
Time -- 2 - 5 pm.

Due to delay in completion of official permission formalities , the Event was not beforehand publicly announced on the blog. We apologize for the delay caused.

All CSI members ,who specially have not been able to be a part of this event, are welcome to drop their opinions and suggestions about the Social cause we are addressing, and our initiative for Child Computer Education.

ANDROID WORKSHOP REBATE!!!

All those CSI participants who participated ANDROID WORKSHOP BATCH-1 ,which was conducted on 17th Sept, should collect the Rs.50 rebate to be offered .
The participants should produce the Participation Certificate of Android Workshop as a verification document while collecting the rebate.
The rebate is to be collected according to the list mentioned below:-
