The response was overwhelming but could have been more overwhelming (had more or all 151 members given their preferences ).
The total number of applications received are approx 250 for a total 27 posts and also just as members of working committees.
but the total number of distinct applicants is much less than that (im not akin ny eforts to count) mainly coz of multiple selections by same persons (which was a good thing to do to make my job easier as i know ur preferences rather than just forcin sumthin onto u. Care will be taken to MINIMIZE unwanted allotments but they cant be avoided 100%)

Core committee: posts: 6 Applications: 49
Heads Working committee: posts :13 Applications : 44
Heads Event specific committees: posts : 8 Applications : 41
Members of various working committees :
posts: unlimited Applications : 72
Members of various event specific working committees :
posts: unlimited Applications : 42
The results would be announced soon. Interviews will be conducted only if we are undecided in solving a preference clash..the decisions will be aided by the info u have filled in forms...
Underperforming committee heads may be replaced by performing members in due course if needed..

Is the results are good considering to total no. of members from KGCE.
