Hi.. After all the delay, its finally here.. Before you jump the gun, carefully go through the committees page which can be accessed by clicking the committees tab above at the blog header bar.
Also go through this page carefully.

There is no restriction on branch/year for any portfolio but make smart and reasonable choices.
You should also evaluate yourself and decide where you fit best as per the work profile descriptions.
To apply for multiple portfolios, fill the form multiple times. but ensure that you fill it in proper order of preference [most preferred one first] as timestamps will be recorded to signify your preference orders..
copy and paste all the content from your first filled form and reuse it in the following multiple attempts as and when u feel suitable as there will be lot of redundant fields. Unfortunately this free tool didnt give me the cart programming flexibility and this is the best design i could come up with.
The selections will be for one year only and has got no relation to your years of membership. applications will be invited every year or when a selected one resigns or becomes unavailable.
The forms will serve as preliminary shortlisting mechanism.. Interview will be taken only if needed.
You may be given zero to two portfolios - one active and one passive(event related) as events related posts may not be demanding in terms of round the year work effort.
If needed committee heads/members will need to work in each others areas , portfolios being mere indication of their primary responsibility.
The Hyperkube techfest committees will be formed later and would comprise members of other bodies too as its a joint event.
work performance and team work during the given tenure will be a factor when advancing next year.
